About me

Brittany Woodley, LCSW-S – Dallas-Based Clinical Supervisor Providing Virtual LMSW Supervision Across Texas and Ohio.

Brittany Woodley offering supportive LMSW supervision and social work mentorship in Texas

My name is Brittany Woodley, a licensed clinical social worker and board-approved supervisor based in Dallas, Texas, providing virtual LMSW supervision across Texas and Ohio since 2017.

I provide virtual supervision for LMSWs across Texas, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.

My work focuses on helping new clinicians develop strong clinical judgment, build confidence, and transition into independent clinical practice.

Clinical Experience

I bring experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including:

  • Psychosocial case management

  • Crisis intervention and stabilization

  • Individual and group counseling

  • Biopsychosocial assessments

  • Discharge planning and care coordination

  • Mental health and substance use treatment

  • DSM-5 diagnosis and treatment planning

  • Clinical supervision for social workers

This background allows me to support clinicians with both real-world clinical insight and structured, licensure-focused supervision.

Current Professional Roles

I currently serve as a Senior Social Worker with the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing behavioral health services to veterans.

I am also the owner of The Empowering Space PLLC, a virtual private practice focused on accessible clinical supervision and mental health support.

My Supervision Approach

My supervision is structured, supportive, and clinically focused, with an emphasis on developing both competence and clinical judgment.

Each supervision experience is tailored to the clinician’s learning style, combining guidance, reflection, and accountability to support steady professional growth.

My Goal as a Supervisor

My goal is to help clinicians develop into confident, ethical, and competent social workers who feel prepared for independent practice.

I aim to create a safe, structured environment where you can think critically, ask questions, and strengthen real clinical skills over time.

Supervision is a professional learning space focused on long-term development, not just meeting licensure requirements.
